Each file on the Zoomer has both a Geos filename, which you see in the File Manager, and a DOS name used internally. The DOS name is also used by the Geos File Transfer protocols.
For example, the "Date Book" file on the Zoomer actually has
the DOS name of date_boo.000. You can see what the
DOS filename of a file is by highlighting the name of the file
on the Zoomer in the File Manager and choosing Utilities from
the menu line and selecting Get File Information. This isn't
something you'll need to worry about, or make use of often, but
you might run into it.
