Max, you've become such a pessimist lately. Perhaps they chose to not make it
available to the masses until they knew it was fully workable and
usable...especially with their proprietary libraries and reputation on the
line. Add to that the fact that maybe only the competition would have wanted
it, before there was a market here for the phones.

Considering the recent brouhaha over the satellite communications market,
they may have decided that now is the time to let developers get an advance
start on training themselves for with this SDK, because they can't
realistically handle the demand for vertical market applications that this
country could put on them. Remember, the Nokia was slated for release in
this country within the next 2 years...and considering the SDK learning
curve, familiarization period...2 years in the hands of "experienced"
programmers is just about the proper amount of leeway needed to let them get
up to speed and fully tested apps ready for when the roll-out of their device
is expected.

Insider trading? If true...then you have facts of a possible crime that a
"good" citizen should report to the proper authorities; otherwise, its simply
an innuendo of undeterminable validity...and therefore, unfounded.
