The price was not under Geoworks' control originally. Only now have they
been able to bring the cost of the actual CD-ROM down. The $8000 was a lot,
sure, but it included a lot more than just a CD-ROM. There was free training
and a year of support, along with access to restricted APIs.

I'm really surprised this statement came from you. Do you have some
evidence of "insider trading" or are you just making unfounded accusations?
Geoworks is extremely careful about how the stock trading is handled.
