This isn't really related to development, but you guys would probably have a
better idea what to try. Today a classmate of mine figured out how to get
SoftWindows2 running on an SGI. Even with a 200MHz MIPS processor w/128 megs
of RAM, Windows was too slow to be usable. So, we figured, hey, why not try
GEOS ? So we downloaded New Deal Publish and set it up. But we came across a
problem. GEOS wants to make it's own mouse pointer, but SoftWindows wants
things to use the system pointer. We tried setting it to No idea, MOUSE.COM
or MOUSE.SYS, Microsoft serial mouse, and PS/2 style mouse, but GEOS
wouldn't recognize it. We finally had to pick None and use the keyboard. It
was only about the speed of a high 386 or low 486, but it was cool (even the
GEOS haters agreed on that). It did look wierd having Motif under Motif
though... I took a screenshot, if you want to see it, you can get it at:

Fair warning, SGI screen resolution is at least 1024x768, maybe even 1280x1024.
