Did you try to run the program on the OmniGo EC emulation from the OG SDK? At
the moment, this seems to be the most "generic" approach to the problem... If
you don't have the necessary resources, I can try to set it up here and see what
happens...

btw: A post-mortem tool for Geos would be cool, but it would have to integrate
with Swat somehow, and I wonder how useful it is to detect problems that do
*not* lead to fatal errors, like in the case you describe...
