>>>>>Q. Now that the SDK for the Nokia is priced at $99 - Is this a
potential way to get Geos 3.0 for the desktop?<<<<<
Not easily. And I haven't tried all the hacking that might be required,
if it would even work.
>>>>>Are the apps (browser, mail, pim) included and if so, does the ec-UI
support desktop keyboard & mouse?<<<<<
Yes the apps are included with the SDK, the EC-UI (emulator) does support
the PC keyboard but not a mouse since the N9000 does not have any mouse or
pointer.
>>>>>Could someone pre-review the NT development tools?<<<<<
If you've used the 2.0 (Ensemble, Zoomer, etc) or the 2.1 (Omnigo) SDK
then you'll be right at home with the N9000 SDK. The most significant
difference is the addition of all the 3.0 connectivity stuff.
It appears that most apps written for 2.x Geos platforms will run on the
N9000, but there is a LOT of UI tweaking to make them usable in the N9000
format.
