None that I know of, although you're getting a newer version than I
have. Yes, your drive space will be adequate, although you'll only have
~30 megs free afterwards.

It helps to have it ready to go when you do the install. You're supposed
to set an environmnet variable "PTTY" which will allow the installer to
install the versions of Geos you need over the serial cable. In
addition, the tutorial starts out by guiding you through compiling a
remotely debugging a little application.
