2 further beginners questions

I succeeded to write my first little GEOS/Omnigo sample application and
get it running on the Omnigo Emulator at the target machine.

When I tried to download my application to the real Omnigo device by use
of pcs, I got "Timed out ... ". My serial connection to the Omnigo device
works correctly with the Connectivity Pack, thus this should not be the
problem. Has anybody an idea what the problem could be ?

I speculated that the real Omnigo device might not like the Error-checking
version of my application. So I tried to generate a NON-error-checking
version. After 2 days of studying and searching thru the Tutorial, Omnigo,
and Tools documents I give up and rather ask you people how to generate a
NON-error-checking version.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
