Flash cards for OG100

I have two questions regarding the Flash versus SRAM cards.
First I would assume that the Flash memory is significantly slower than
the SRAM. If I were running it on Toshiba's new 133mhz P5 Notebook then
I would think it was important. My first guess is that with the the
speed of PDA's the difference is not of consideration. Is this a valid
assumption.
The second subject is that while Flash RAM does not require a continuous]
power source (internal battery), I would imagine that it would take a
fair amount more power to write to than SRAM. Does anyone know if a
Flash card should significantly reduce battery life? Thanks.
