Well, the card (and batteries) are fairly new, and it's been doing the
beeeeeeeeeep, blip-blip-blip since I put it in. Tonight I'll double-check
by testing the alarm without the card.

Touch screen to turn on is off (I took pity on my batteries).
I shall do some research!
