Defect of OmniGo 100??

I've just bought a new OmniGo100 and find everything fine but when I am
using the pen during inputing telephone number, the device suddenly went
crazy: "Beep Beep Beep....., Flash a little while of what I
inputed...then back to normal".

I have seen a msg of similar situation before but I've delete it. Could
anyone pls provide me the reason behind and solution.
