I have a New Media 2M SRAM card and have not experienced any of the problems
mentioned previously. I got the card from a mail order palmtop shop, but I
can't remember the name. I've had the card for a couple of years, as I've
used it previously on an HP100LX.

I have a Mitsubishi 1MB SRAM Card, and have noticed similar sorts of
problems to those experienced by others.I have found that the problem
of the OG locking up only occurs if I leave the sram card in a non
write-protect state.This causes the OG to lock up on power on and the
card has to be removed,the OG hard reset, the card write-protected and
then the OG powered on.
This is a bit of a pain, and I agree that it shouldn't happen, but I have
now got into the habit of only write-enabling the card when I write to
it and then immediately write-protecting it again.
I have also got a 1MB Pico card and exactly the same happens on this.
