Strange-behaving SRAM Cards

Everybody:

Yesterday, I installed a PreMax 2Mb SRAM card and immediately started having
problems.
I'm using alkalines that test out as good.

I've been getting:
1) Hang-on-bootup.
2) EXTREMELY sluggish response to the pen
3) The RIGHT side of the screen (I use the OG in pen-only, rotated mode) can
get itself
into a state where it won't recognize pen strokes at all.

What's bugging the heck out of me is that the OG was working just skippy
until I added the SRAM card. But you have to have the SRAM card if you want
to do anything other than use the built-in software!

Anyhow, that's the sitrep on my OG100/SRAM. Hope it makes sense to someone.
It kind of sounds to me like the whole system is pretty voltage-sensitive.
I'm no hardware guy, but when you add hardware and develop problems, it
looks like the system needs another look from the hardware end of things.

Has anyone heard about upgrades to something like an OG110?
