I had three occasions last week where the OG locked up saying there is
an unrecoverable system error and quoting KR-09, KR-13 and KR-21 as
the error codes. I lose no data. I have had this problem exactly
thrice.
When I called HP they have promised to replace the complete unit with
another one that will hopefully not have the problem.
The thing that makes me hesitant is that I have a very carefully
maintained unit and I am loath to get it replaced with what is
probably a reconditioned unit at best.
Has anyone experienced these lock-ups and what is their frequency?
Also I shall be grateful for any experiences with the HP Exchange
program. Is the replacement a decent one or is it something repaired
and quite used?
