Serial port not working... -Reply

A problem I had is that I put the connector in upside down into the
OmniGo.... I would have thought that it would prevent me from doing just
that, but it still does not rank up there as one of my greater
achievements....

How to confirm the HP OmniGo 100 serial port is working...???
I just got the HP 1015A cable but can't get it work...

I'm using COM2, port 9600 setting & the error message I got when
establish the link is " Could not connect to Omnigo, make sure the cable is
securely connected"...

Pls Help...
