Have you tried removing the PreMax card and seeing if the problem goes
away.
At least this way you would know if the problem was with the Omnigo or
caused by the memory card.

It seems that my pen has becomes uncalibrated. I have gone into setup to
calibrate it, but after I turn my Omni off it goes back to being uncalibrated.
I have been using a 2mb memory card from PreMax for a few weeks (it has been
constantly in the PC Card slot) could this be the problem. Or will I have to
do something more drastic?
