No, I'm not talking about the 700. The local paper said the
Omnigo 100 - the local paper (Bangkok Post, 24 April) said the HP Omnigo
100 Plus (with Pocket Quicken) was on sale at a certaain shop. I got a
friend who works near there to go and look and he called me back and told
me that appeared to be what they were selling and that it did say with
Quicken on the box. The last time I was in the shop (about a month ago)
the Omnigos on sale said nothing about Quicken. No mention anywhere else.
Some things turn up here very quickly. I know one 200 LX user who
has one of those Motorola radio modem type things. I forget the name. Not
just an ordinary modem as it receives Internet email directly and is "on
line" the whole time so to speak. What I mean is that when he wants to
answer email he just types it in and sends it. No need to phone in and
logon at all. He finds it excellent for his business. Most i fnot all of
his contacts in Europe and the States have email, so he saves a fortune
in faxes.
