Expert Plus Program & File manager

I want to install the Expert Plus program for my OmniGo, but I hesitate to,
because I hear of all these problems all the time, ranging from alarms not
going off, to windows dissappearing... Also I have heard of similiar
problems with Blue Marsh's File Manager.

So should I install these?
