Ahem. GEOS will handle text file of up to about 16MB without
choking. Whether or not a specific application will is another
story. I routinely load huge text files under the text editor
included with Ensemble... It uses a VisLargeTextClass object, and
thus can handle gobs and gobs of text.

The version of GEOS on the OG may not have a VisLargeTextClass
object, and thus may be limited to using a GenTextClass. (which is
limited to something along the lines of 32KB I think...)

Either way, GEOS itself is capable of handling very large sets of
data. The specific object set on the OG may be another story, *or*
the object used by the authors of these various text editors may be
another story.

Have fun!
