1. Standard file formats or conversions for all Omnigo apps - it's
ridiculous that I can't port data from the Omnigo database into my
desktop apps in any straightforward way, without purchasing extra
software.
2. Being able to 'hot-key' into open apps straight away from power on, a
la Psion Series 3a, rather than having to go via the main screen.
3. Being able to 'zoom' the screen image, again a la 3a. It's even more
important on the Omnigo, with the restricted screen size.
4. A better quality screen! (Dare I say 3a again - it is much crisper
and more readable, with less surface reflectivity - but perhaps this is
a consequence of making the screen touch sensitive?)
5. Better control over the alarm functions - one feeble warning, and its
gone. The 3a (...!) can be heard all over the house and keeps going, at
well chosen intervals, until you do something about it.
If you're wondering why I haven't stayed with the 3a - I would, if it
had a pen jotter function, and graffiti, both of which I love, and
(almost) justify the switch.
