Clip and Go Ain't goin': Problems with Com ports and Serial Cables

I'm having some type of problem getting my serial connection established between by
Omingo and my COMPAQ Lte 5200.

I'm using Windows 95 and it tells me Com 1 is in use. By what I don't know. Com 2 is
apparently being used by my Modem Card (PCMCIA). Com 3 and 4 don't seem to work.

Has anyone had similar problem?

Any advice?
