Hi,
I tried the beta-demo of the GEOS graphics file viewer (BitMapView)
on the OG and it works quite well. I have used it to view small
gif, bmp and pcx files so far. It is available at:

http://www.cs.tu-berlin.de/~pilz/geos.html

Unfortunately this beta demo expires at the end of June :-(
I also crashed the OG when trying the copy command.
