After reading the original post, I tried turning off my touch-to-turn-on
feature. It looks like I'll probably get about 50-100% longer life out of
energizer alkalines. I can't give very accurate stats, as it's virtually
impossible to have a week or two of 'average use'. Any others with similar
findings?
