SRAM card not recognized as formated.

I have a 1 MEG sram card that I was using in my palmtop. I would like to use it in
my omnigo. I got the omnigo to recognize it after formating it. However, everytime I
take the card out and put it back in, it can not read it and wants to format it again.

I remove the card by using the "pcmcia card" icon on the bottom of the File Transfer
program.
What do I need to do for it to be able to read the card?
