Bob,
I asked MagicRam this question and here is the reply:

Both of our SRAM and Flash memory cards support the HP OmniGo.
SRAM cards are faster and use a little less battery power when writing
data, but they require a battery to back up their data and this battery
must be replaced periodically.

Flash cards are cheaper, do not require any battery maintenance and can
contain more data, programs and backups, but they are a little slower,
require a little more power when writing to the card and need a one time
installation of a special driver via a serial cable or the HP Connectivity
Pak.

MagicRAM offers the following sizes of SRAM for the OmniGo 100. These cards
are plug and play.

512KB 89.00
1MB 139.00
2MB 249.00
4MB 699.00

MagicRAM offers the following sizes of Flash for the OmniGo 100. These cards
require a one-time installation of a proprietary driver using a serial cable
or the HP Connectivity Kit.

2MB 169.00
4MB 249.00
