Greetings all !

Use GBBIO for converting your Database files as described, the problem I had
was - How do you convert your databases into a comma delimited form (.CDF)
ready for conversion by GBBIO?.

I use a database in Sidekick 2 for details of my clients, contacts, etc.

I export the files as DBase3 (.DBF) , use the ConQuest Database Converter 1.5
(DBC.EXE) to convert them to Comma Delimited (.CDF) and GBBIO to convert them
ready for the OMNIGO.

As described in the GBBIO readme you need to have set up a database on the
OMNIGO with the same fields. I keep all files in one directory along with a
copy of my empty OMNIGO database e.g. BLANKKEN.GDB.

I would think it would be possible to reverse this process, but I have not as
yet tried.
I am almost sure I found the ConQuest Database Converter 1.5 on AOL.

Finally on the subject of the HP Connectivity Pack, I had presumed from the
information given out that it would transfer and syncronise the database
files. For the money it cost I hope HP will price an upgrade very reasonably,
( if they ever sort it out!).

Hello,

I just got the serial cable to transfer files back and forth from the Ogo
to a PC. I'm getting the hang of it using Omnicom.

Are there any shareware utilities to convert Ogo datases or spreadsheets
into usable data, tab delimited text or Excel format?

The best I've been able to do was to open the notepad file into Word and
extract out the plain text.

Is this what the HP conversion pack does?

Thanks
