I found myself in a similar situation. But reports of how difficult it was
to make the cable put me off. Also, I couldn't find the right connedtors
for the OG port. I looked at the prices of the parts to make the cable and
found that it would be cheaper to by the cable!
In the end I bought a Conn. Pack (which has a lead included) from my HP
dealer. I had to explain to her what the OG was and get the part no. myself
from the Internet.
Anyway, before I came this decision I collected pin-out diagrams. YES,
there were the that many.
