Due to the really high volume of mail failures experienced lately I have
had to institute automatic unsubscription from the list if your address
suffers from any of a number of serious mail delivery failures. A couple
of random mail burps won't affect you but errors like

user unknown
MX mail record errors
mail loops
DNS failures

will get you bumped. If you don't hear anything from the list for a couple
of days you have probably been dropped and should resubscribe.

FAQ

Thanks to Ronald Pike for submitting his FAQ once again. Due to its size
it got dropped from being automatically posted to the list, but I have
added it to the archives. If you wish to retrieve it send the command

get ogo-digest ogo.FAQ

to majordomo@lifelike.com. The list currently has a maximum message size
limit of 10k for a single message. This is because of the large number of
subscribers (we are over 500 now!) and a 10k message turns into a 5Meg
glob that gets transfered over the link to our provider. Too many big
messages will saturate the link, and we still have to get real work done
here. I have also updated the Welcome messages for the list and the
digest to include this information, including the pointer to the FAQ.
