Many thanks to all the people who replied after my request for information
on the Sandisk flash RAM cards.

I ordered one on Friday from www.21store.com (a UK based company) and it
arrived this morning. When I inserted it the Omnigo recognized it and
didn't ask for it to be formatted but I decided to do this anyway. The first
time I tried formatting it the Og hung with the "Please wait a moment"
message so I removed the card, rebooted, and tried again. This time it worked
fine, giving me 3812 bytes free on the card.

So far, everything is working fine, the only problem I've found is that
file uploads at 19200 baud seem to be unreliable, perhaps this is because
the flash card is slower to write to than an SRAM card? Uploads work fine
at 9600 baud.
