Every time I transfer a file from PC to Omnigo by using PUT <
filename>command of Omnicom, the system reboot itself and the download
failed. I use HP conectivity cable and correctly set the baud rate.

This sounds like the familiar low power syndrome.
Serial communications takes a lot of power. If the Ogo is running only on
batteries during the communication it may have enough power to transmit
clearly. I recommend building the battery replacement power supply.
Since you are plugged into a PC anyway, having the power supply also
anchoring the Ogo is no big deal. I think I may still have the plans for one
if you need them, but I will have to go looking for them .... kind of tired
right now .... let me know.
