I use the appointment book, database, the notepad, and the spreadsheet
most of all.
Perhaps we could set up a distribution site for neat spreadsheets
(I have a simple one that keeps track of my gas mileage), data bases,
etc.
I do have a few problems perhaps someone knows the answer to:
1. My appointment book can not be viewed from cpack100, the connectivity
pack. It can be copied to the PC, but when I try to view it, I get
an "internal error in translation". I've tried both the original
version of cpack100 and the HP-issued upgrade.
The appointment book works well on the omnigo and can be printed, but
I would like to find out how to fix the PC version - if at my desk, I
often check my schedule using the connectivity pack rather than firing
up the ogo.
2. The only way I know to compact the "disk" is to do a soft reboot
*(shift-on-next). Is there another way? Is there a way to save graffiti
shortcuts across soft reboots (perhaps using a PC connection, if
necessary).
3. (for a friend) Does anyone know how to delete pocket quicken
files (i.e. not accounts, but collections of accounts).
The thing I admire about the ogo its size and general useability. By
concentrating on making affordable application engine, rather than
an full computer, HP has filled an important niche combining small size
and large functionality. After all, who wants to develop programs on a
2.5 inch square screen?
Thanks for any answers.
David
Whereas a pocket-size true computer would be neat - a pocket-size
application engine is much better.
