"Smudge" on my screen

I seem to have a black "smudge" or "shadow" about the size of a dime on my
OGO screen. My OGO is only three weeks old, (the smudge started the second
week) and I don't recall putting any pressure on the screen or damaging it in
any way. You can still very easily read the screen, but it is sort of
annoying. When I called HP support, they said to "backup your data and pull
all the batteries, letting it sit overnight". I've tried this, but not much
luck (what a surprise).

Anyone else have a similar issue? Comments? Suggestions? My next step is
to send it in to HP for service. I'm not real fond of the idea of being
without my ogo for a week+. I bought it from CDW... I haven't contacted them
yet.
