Hmmm... Does this only happen w/ the used Grid cards from Direct Mobile?
Or is this inherent to most SRAM cards?

I have a Pretec ATA flash for my Ogo now that works perfectly w/ direct
file transfers on laptops (sure beats waiting for the files to download @
9.6 or 19.2 kbps), but may want to buy a cheap used SRAM card from DM for
2ndary external storage to save battery life for certain apps/usage. The
ability to have direct laptop access to my flash card as a pc-card drive is
great. Saves a lot of battery power and time whenever I need to fool
around w/ stuff on the card aside from normal Ogo usage.

What is the data transfer rate on SRAM cards anyway?

PS: I sending this directly to you because my mailserver cannot send mail
to the OGO mailing list. Please forward to the list on my behalf. Thanx.
