Sorry to see that you're having battery trouble. However, I'm not sure about your conclusion. When I'm not heavily using the
serial port (I don't have anything in the PC Card slot), I easily get 4+ weeks of life out of my lithium batteries. When
running with Renewal rechargeable batteries, I can run for over two weeks. I am a daily user, if not a heavy user. Because
your experience seems so different from mine, there may yet be something wrong with your Ogo. Don't give up on trying to get
a replacement unit.

P.S. Although there is some debate about this, I found that my battery life was significantly reduced when I had the "touch
to turn on" enabled. You might try turning this off (if it isn't already) to see if this has any effect.
