I recently came across two intersting tidbids in connection with the OmniGo self
test menu (reset the device using Shift-On-Next and keep your finger on Next):
- While in the self test screen, you can use the "On" key together with the
"plus" and "minus" keys to change screen contrast.
- At the end of every self test item, the device sends status messages similar
to the ones displayed on screen to the built-in serial port (at 1200,8N1). This
isn't particularly useful for individual tests, but it could be used to log
continuous testing.
