I've been working on some qbasic programs to allow the use of Wyndmail
software to read mail offline. It converts text downloaded from Ogcomm
into the Wyndmail format.
Here's what you do once everything is installed and configured:
1- Log into your unix account with Ogcomm
2- type 'mail'
3- open dwnld.txt and turn off screen update (for speed)
4- type 'p *'
5- wait a few seconds while mail is downloaded
6- close dwnld.txt and turn on screen update
7- log off
8- reboot into dos (or run from geomanage)
9- type 'read'
10- boot geos
11- run Wyndmail software and read you mail
It works once everything is configured. It's not too complicated if
you're comfortable in dos and unix.
Here's how it should work the other direction (it doesn't work yet)
1- Write email in wyndmail
2- reboot to dos
3- type 'write'
4- boot geos (and insert modem)
5- log into unix account with Ogcomm
6- turn screen update off
7- send upload.txt
8- log off
It will work, my qbasic program isn't ready yet. If anyone can help me
finish the second qbasic program, or anyone who wants to use this system,
go www.mcs.com/~halleen/shareware/email.html.

If this is legal (?) I'd love a copy too. I'm sure a lot of people would
too.
