Geocalc is part of a suite of fully integrated software apps called Geoworks
Ensemble. I've used it since '91 and found it to be a great set of apps,
especially if you have limited computer speed or memory. I use Geocalc to
design custom spreadsheets for the Omnigo. The program works just about like
Excel, but it runs over dos (or Win95's dos). I know it exports and imports
data from Lotus 123 and CSV and a few other apps, but I'm not sure about
Excel (I'm sure Exec exports to one of the formats Geocalc Imports). A new
republisher is gearing up to release new(?) versions of the software, but in
the meantime Geoworks ver. 2.01 is available from a company called USI. I
don't have their number, but it's about $80 and their number is on the
Geoworks web page: http://www.geoworks.com The nice thing about Geocalc and
the OG is that you can change font sizes and styles and customize cell sizes,
borders and even add shading to the cell backgrounds.
You can get more information in AOL's Geoworks forum: There's one in
English and one in German. Have Fun!
