I depends on what you want to get in and out. Appointments, as far as I
know, can't be exported without the C Pack, but databaes, including the
phonebook, can be copied and converted using GDBIO.

If you want to get spreadsheets in and out, I've heard good things about
Clip 'n Go. (C Pack won't do it)

I'm getting along just fine without the connectivity pack. From all I've
heard, it's pretty useless. Consider yourself lucky that you haven't
opened it yet. Get the cable, Omnicom (shareware), and the Installer
(shareware). GDBIO and a simple Windows front end are available at
www.mcs.com/~halleen/shareware/.
