A question and an observation (about sram)

Thanks to all who responded when I was trying to get apps installed to
sram to show up on the home screen (it now works, I have no idea what
was wrong).

One issue has come up. I'm using the express menu (thanks, Nate
Fiedler).
Sometimes the express menu shows all apps, both those on the sram and
those built-in, and sometimes it only shows the built-in ones. I can't
find any reason why. I've looked at geos.ini and there seem to be only
minor differences (a batwatch parameter).

In the past, this problem has disappeared with a soft-reset, but this
isn't working now.

Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

The observation:
As is known, if you create a /geoworks/privdata/hwr directory, the
Omnigo will save graffiti shortcuts across soft-resets.

If you create this directory on the sram card, the grafitti shortcuts
are preserved even across hard (paper-clip) resets.
