HP's language is pretty much standard.
"No part of this doument may be.....without prior written
consent...".
The main purpose is to protect instructions on differing
international models from being misused and mostly from overzealous
attorneys who like to represent folk who were not given the part that
ssys not to play with the AC adaptor in the bathtub, or that certain
parts of a calculator are not edible. ;)
