Thanks again: now that Ihave made the changes you suggested to the
autoexec.bat file everything seems back to normal
For the interest of others, MagicRam has apparently written a driver
enabling flash cards to be used to run programs
"We have a new driver in our BBS that we just released. with this driver, you
can also run programs from the card. Our BBS number is (213)413-9778. For
first name, type GUEST and for last name and password, press ENTER then type
F and follow the instructions."
