Cleaning Your Omnigo

What experiences have you had at cleaning your Omnigo?

I've had my OmniGo for almost a month now and I've had to deal with my
kids wanting to play with it whenever they see me pick it up. I can
usually switch to the jotter in draw mode and tell them it's a
Magna-doodle or an etch-a-sketch and let them draw a little. Or with
my oldest (6 yrs old) I start up Solitaire and let him play until he
gets frustrated.

When I get it back, the screen is covered with fingerprints and if I'm
really unlucky, it's got some "sticky stuff" on the keyboard and
screen. HP neglected to give us instructions on cleaning the OmniGo,
so I'm wondering what you folks have tried so far. I'm interested in
cleaning failures as well. I understand the screen is plastic-covered,
so I know enough to not use abrasives on the unit.

My only other experience is with my old organizer, which, being
forgotten in my shirt pocket all day, has twice fallen into the water
while I was bathing my children. The lithium cells (same as the one in
the OmniGo) short out and go dead when they get wet. They will come
back when dry, but usually experience a somewhat shortened life after
that. Meanwhile I had lost everything on the organizer and had to
resort to restoring from backups.
