Geez, Chris! We know that our mileage will vary. But we also know that each of us is
really looking for something better than the state of the art will support. It seems to
me that only by having an open and FRANK discussion of how we'd like things to be will
we ever get any manufacturer to listen to us.

Me, I agree with Dennis Qua: I want a DOS-based, graffiti-oriented palmtop. Never
gonna get one unless enough people get on the horn and
ask for it, right?

As for bashing HP, we <LOVE> HP. At least enough to buy their machine and not Sharp's
or Pilot's. We carry HP around in our pockets. But if you (or HP, for that matter) is
taking comments made here personally, you probably shouldn't. It WAS a mistake not to
bundle Quicken: the have apparently addressed that with the OG120. Everyone applauds
that. But the Connectivity Kit is a disaster and they may or may not have addressed
that. When enough people squeal like stuck pigs, they'll probably take care of the
CK, too.

It's a process. It's market feedback. We like that. We don't like that. Sometimes
they listen. Sometimes they don't.

We never worship the manufacturers: it's their job to worship US! If they worry about
what we have to say, I'd have to say that that's appropriate. Because Sharp and Pilot
are out there.
