IMHO yes - you can buy other software later...

Yes. All you need is a Filemanager (look at the web page given above).

A Flash RAM doesn't need a battery but needs more power from the OmniGo. There
are only few Flash RAM cards working with the OmniGo.

I recommend the 2 MB S-RAM card from "Reboot Electronics" because it cost's only
49.95 US$ (+ 3.95 US$ shipping charges to Austria)...
