Subject: Fragmentation?

Does a RAM Disk become fragmented?=20
Yes it does. A ram disk is an in-memory simulation of a real disk, with =
sectors, clusters, and so on. As files are deleted and written, =
fragmentation can indeed occur.
If so, how to avoid it in the OmniGo?=20
No need to really ... read on.
Can it affect performance?
Not really. The performance loss in a real disk is from the time it =
takes to re-position the heads, including a settling delay and the =
amount of time it takes for the platter to spin and get the necessary =
contents under the head. Since a RAM disk is all electronic, all of =
these physical timing issues become moot.
