I already have my second Omnigo, after the first went dead
after about two months. However the replacement unit which I
have been sent by TomTech, the company who handles here in
Germany repairs and warranty claims of HP-calulators and
-organizers, seems to have a curious flaw. The screen actually
used is smaller than the physical screen. On each side there are about
two millimeters left, making an already small screen even smaller.
This was not the case on my first Omnigo. Rebooting,
removing batteries or calibrating the pen in setup does not help.
Have I reveived a defective unit?
My original serial number was SG6050... the replacement unit
starts with SG5460..., i.e. it seems to be a much older model.
Should I return the model again or is it possible to alleviate the
flaw.
Any comments are welcome.
