Just shortly before I stopped using the OmniGo, I bought a new Intel
Faxmodem 96/96 PC Card (PCMCIA) to go with it. The card itself is never
used and is in its plastic pocket, with its own phone cable, however, its
original box is gone.
Please e-mail me an offer if interested. Thanks.
P.S. As a reference, check www.pdapage.com for best prices for a new unit.
P.S.2. In case you want my "OmniGo vs. Pilot" opinion: The Pilot does have
better speed and PC integration, which are both very important to me, but I
do miss quite a few things from the OmniGo:
Hardware:
PC Card slot
pen with a comfortable size
keyboard with function keys
screen that folds to any angle, with image rotation
highly reflective LCD screen (OmniGo 120) with high resolution; with the
right lighting and angle, as bright as PalmPilot's real back-light
Software:
items can belong to multiple categories
visible Graffiti strokes, can be written anywhere on screen
convenient jotter application
mixed graphical ink and text on same note
mixed text alignments/styles(BIU)/sizes on same note
print directly to printer
more customizable repeating events
4-month view
more powerful built-in calculator
built-in general-purpose database
built-in general-purpose spreadsheet
built-in alarm/timer/stopwatch
very good built-in world time application/database
very powerful built-in financial applications plus HP 12C emulation
custom sort order for phone book
Pocket Quicken
