It's very strange... Can I ask you some questions?
- What is model of your OmniGo?
- What is version of Installer do you use?
- What does it mean - "freeze"?
- What is on screen when ogo freezes?
- What is your fax/modem (model, Class 2?..)?
- What is FAX do you try to send (size, font...)?
- Is it first attempt to send FAX after installation when it happens?
Thanks a lot for efforts!
Best Regards,
Oleg Chernov.

Hi !
I continue to have the same error even with ArtScom installed on the ogo Ram!
The modem dials but after that the ogo freezes up and I have to do a soft reboot.
I hope you'll be able to fix that bug because I'm very intrested in this app!
Greetings from Italy

Hi gentlemen,
It seems like ArtSCom not working properly from PCMCIA SRAM/FLASH card!
Do not try it any more while we fix this problem, please... ArtSCom was tested only
for OmniGo's main memory installation!

Dear Philippe,
I had same problem with standard modem. I managed to successfully soft re-boot -
Shift, On and Next keys, but found I had also lost all memory from RAM.
I have uninstalled ArtSoft, but read the Readme.txt file which also shows the
file structure which needs to be manually removed. Although I installed the
ArtSoft program on my PCMCIA card, this directory structure is placed on the RAM
of the Omnigo. Once removed, I retrieved nearly 200k of RAM.
Question to Oleg:
What is causing this memory shortage? Does this directory structure have to be
on RAM or can it be moved to PCMCIA?
Best
Robert I
