OGO Power Supply Resolution

Has anyone tried using rechargeable batteries in the OGO with an AC adapter
hooked directly to the battery terminals? This should work the same as a
power drill with Ni-cads. I'd drill a hole in the side of the OGO to put
a DC power jack and run the AC adapter to this jack. I AM going to try this
on my OGO and will post the results soon. Presently, I'm using rechargeables
from YES SOLAR(1300mah) which are about the highest mah rating you can buy.
