This smells like your modem is drainging your batteries. Make a little
calculation: What is the maximum power outlet of your batteries? What is
the power consumption of your moden? add about 200 mA at 3 volts for the
ogo and I guess this comes over the max power outlet of your batteries.

You have 2 options:
- use batteries which can put your required power consumption
- have an external power supply to the modem.
